Cyber Security Nordic 29.–30.10.2024 is at the Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre.

Cyber Security Nordic gathers cybersecurity speakers worldwide, with key subjects including European efforts for secure digitalisation, strategies for information security, cybercrime and law enforcement, cyber politics and democracy, defence against cyberwarfare, and the role of geopolitics and diplomacy in cybersecurity.

Cyber Security Nordic is organised by Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre and Finnish Information Security Cluster (FISC ry.). The strategic partners of the event are Accenture, Fitsec, Cyberday, HP Finland, Microsoft, Nixu, Trend Micro, NetNordic and Vectra.

HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE EVENT

Pitch Finland Cyber Security
The competition seeks to identify new innovations or services with the potential to contribute to the growth of the cybersecurity industry globally. The final will take place on 29 October 2024, with the winner, a Finland-registered company or organisation, receiving a €10,000 prize from the Finnish Fair Foundation.

Hacker’s Corner
Hacker’s Corner is a new addition to Cyber Security Nordic. Cybersecurity professionals will test their skills in real-world scenarios and compete against each other. Participants will collaborate with leading companies to tackle complex security challenges, gaining insight into the hacker’s mindset. Hacker’s Corner partners are Trend Micro, WithSecure, Insta, Nixu, Vectra and Truesec.

STAGES

Stage One
The Main Venue, boasts the largest LED setup in Finland for a conference, spanning 23 metres in width and covering over 100 square metres. This impressive setting will host keynote presentations from strategic partners, along with other international experts.

The Gold Stage
Offering a wider range of talks addressing various practical, technical, and strategic aspects of information security, providing attendees with knowledge across multiple disciplines.

of Noyb – European Center for Digital Rights, known for his privacy advocacy and legal battles against Facebook (Meta) over privacy violations.

Prof. William H. Dutton

of Oxford University, an expert on internet studies and author of The Fifth Estate: The Power Shift of the Digital Age.

JM. Monteith

of Lockheed Martin, with over 20 years of experience in cybersecurity architecture in the aerospace and defence sectors.
