Cyber Security Nordic 2025 Preview

Cyber Security Nordic returns to Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre on 4–5 November 2025, bringing together leading experts, decision-makers, and innovators to address the most pressing challenges in cybersecurity. The event features strategic insights and future-focused themes, reflecting the fast-changing cyber landscape. The exhibition space is sold out.

This year’s agenda covers critical themes such as European initiatives for secure digitalisation, strategies for protecting critical infrastructure, the fight against cybercrime, the intersection of democracy and cyber politics, and the growing impact of AI on security. With keynote sessions from global leaders, interactive panels, and dedicated forums for education and talent development, Cyber Security Nordic 2025 provides an unparalleled platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration.

Among the Keynote Speakers are:

Philip Stupak – Opening Keynote | Senior Director for Advocacy, ISC2

Former Assistant National Cyber Director at the White House, Philip Stupak has shaped U.S. cybersecurity policy at the highest level. At ISC2, he champions the voice of the global cybersecurity profession to policymakers across the Americas, East Asia, and Australia. Previously, he led the Policy Implementation Division at the White House’s Office of the National Cyber Director, driving the execution of President Biden’s cybersecurity strategy and co-authoring the landmark Executive Order on Strengthening and Promoting Innovation in the Nation’s Cybersecurity.  

Andžejus Roginskis | Head of Digital Support Unit, Europol EC3

Andžejus Roginskis leads the Digital Support Unit at Europol’s European Cybercrime Centre (EC3), driving advanced support for complex cybercrime investigations across the EU. His work focuses on cyber intelligence, data science, digital forensics, and cryptocurrency tracing, while strengthening cooperation between law enforcement and private sector partners. With over 30 years in law enforcement, including senior roles in Lithuania’s Criminal Police Bureau, he brings deep expertise in tackling organized and cybercrime in the digital age.

Keynote: EC3 and the Power of Collaboration: Leading the Response to Cybercrime

Cyber Security Nordic 2025 features three distinct stages, each designed to deliver a wealth of knowledge and insights. The new Scandinum Stage offers an opportunity for quick recaps, awards, interviews, and dynamic company pitches, highlighting innovative solutions and insights around Cybercation.

Stage One, the main venue, boasts the largest LED setup in Finland for a conference, spanning 23 metres in width and covering over 100 square metres. This impressive setting will host Stage One presentations from strategic partners: AccentureCyberdayElisaFitsecFortinetHP FinlandMoonsoft and MattermostReversecTrend MicroVectra and With Secure, along with other international Keynote Speakers.  

The Gold Stage will offer a broader range of talks addressing various aspects of information security, providing attendees with practical, technical, and strategic knowledge across multiple disciplines.  

Lessons Learned from Hybrid Influencing – Taiwan and Europe in Focus

Hybrid influencing challenges democratic societies with disinformation and foreign interference. This session brings together Ambassador Freddy Lim, sharing Taiwan’s frontline experience, and Jukka Savolainen from Hybrid CoE, offering European insights on resilience and vulnerabilities. Moderated by cybersecurity and hybrid threat expert Colonel (ret.) Aapo Cederberg, the discussion explores practical lessons and strategies to counter these evolving threats.

Cybercation is a dedicated side event focusing on cybersecurity education and talent development. It consists of two core elements:

Telia Cybercation Challenge – An ethical hacking competition for youngtalents aged 15–24, featuring real-world cybersecurity challenges in a safe environment. The competition includes an online qualifier and culminates in the finals in Helsinki on 4 November.

Cybercation Forum – A platform for educators, experts, and industry leaders to discuss the future of cybersecurity and AI, share best practices, and explore strategies for developing the next generation of cyber professionals.

The event highlights the importance of education, collaboration, and innovation in strengthening digital resilience across the Nordic region.

Hacker’s Corner continues to attract hands-on cybersecurity professionals – invited to test their skills in real-world scenarios and compete against each other. Participants will collaborate with leading cybersecurity companies to solve complex security challenges, diving into the mind of a hacker and tackling various puzzles.

Pitch Finland Cyber Security seeks again new innovations or services that contribute to the development and growth of the industry and have international potential. The final will take place as a pitching competition at the Cyber Security Nordic event on 5th November 2025, with members of Finnish Business Angels Network, FiBAN, invited to attend. A company or organisation registered in Finland will be awarded a €10,000 prize, donated by the Finnish Fair Foundation.  

Liikenne- ja viestintävirasto Traficom brings a full afternoon of insights on safeguarding our digital society in Finland. The program features opening remarks by Director General Jarkko Saarimäki, a keynote on lessons from defending Ukraine’s digital infrastructure, and a high-level panel on protecting critical infrastructure. Experts will also explore cybersecurity regulation, secure software development, and the future of security in the age of AI agents.
