Elad Segev

Dr. Elad Segev is a Senior Security Researcher in Accenture Security. In his role Elad is focused on Blockchain Security research and Quantum Computing topics related to Security. 

In the Blockchain Security field Elad handles business and technology use cases from all parts of the Blockchain ecosystem potential client base: Banks, Financial Institutions, Regulators, Enterprises and startup companies. At the Blockchain Security team we research, design and analyze different blockchain technologies utilization for their security capabilities, vulnerabilities and as part of a cyber security product or implemented mechanism.

Elad has more than 13 years of experience and demonstrated history of working in the automotive, defense and security industries and as a former Investments Manager in one of Israel’s largest most successful venture capital firms Jerusalem Venture Partners. He has worked for several multinational corporations operating in Israel such as Robert Bosch GmbH and Deutsche Telekom AG as a Technology Scout responsible for collaboration and open innovation with the Israeli ecosystem: Startup companies, Academia researchers and R&D groups in mature companies covering several fields: AI, Cyber Security, Quantum Computing, Robotics and IoT. In the past few years he was also teaching at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in Israel in the departments of computer science, electrical and computer engineering and materials engineering.

Elad is skilled in research and development (R&D) & engineering management, business management, and embedded systems and object-oriented design. He holds a master’s in electrical engineering with a division of management from Tel-Aviv University and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) focused in Nanotechnology Modeling and Simulations with Quantum Mechanics (ab-initio) based methods from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
